Survival of the fittest

A couple of weeks ago, the family Hendrickx from Herentals (Belgium), known by the companies Henco & Henrad – the ‘yellow‘ company, has paid 100 million euros to the Belgian tax authorities to escape a criminal trial, related to years of sophisticated fraud.

Total – never on a Wednesday

A car needs gas.

Sometimes I make a quick stop at this gas station, but never on a Wednesday. On Wednesdays the windows are shut. Yeah, you’re still able to fill up your car with your favorite brand, but you’ll miss the intriguing smile. She has been doing this for about 38 years and still puts on the light at 6:00h in the morning on a daily basis. And even today she doesn’t use a computer of any kind, but simply writes down everything on paper to do her business.  But never on a Wednesday.
