Standpunten – Points of view

with one comment

Standpunten is a quarterly forum organized by the ‘centrum voor beeldexpressie’ at which three photographers get the opportunity to present their work. This event will take place on Friday December 9, at 20:00h in GC De Bosuil, Witherendreef 1, Overijse.

In this edition I will be talking about my series “theme park”.

Welcome.

Echolilia

leave a comment »

Timothy Archibald is one of the most versatile and daring photographers I know. In 2005 he published his book ‘sex machines’, on which you can find a very interesting interview at the Conscientious blog.

A while back he published a new book, Echolilia, concerning his relationship with his son Elijah, who has autism spectrum disorder. The book shows the bridges father and son have built on their shared journey of wonder, discovery and understanding.

In November 2011, National Geographic published their story.

Deeply moved.
