Today Belgian contemporary art director Jan Hoet died at 77.

Some people are not expected to die, ever. Jan Hoet was one of those people.
Thanks Jan, for your passion for art and above all for your passion for life.

A couple of weeks ago, Belgian writer Kristien Hemmerechts released her new book “de vrouw die de honden eten gaf” in which the writer tries to settle herself within the mindset of the ex-wife of Marc Dutroux.

My silent comment.

Alex Prager – Face in the crowd

with one comment

When you study the images from Alex Pragers “Faces In The Crowd” up close, you may just notice that all of what you see is no accident. Each of the images in her series is perfectly choreographed. Every position and every expression is carefully calculated to give the viewer the exact image that the photographer initially intended.
